Bio
Loyiso Mangena is a South African actor best known for his role as Chippa Mhlati in the e.tv soapie Backstage, for which he won the inaugural SAFTA award for Best Supporting Actor in a TV Soap, in 2006.
He also won the 2002 Duku Duku award for Best Male Actor in a Soap for his role as Chippa.
In 2008 he began presenting the SABC1 celebrity documentary show B4 da Fame. He also played the role of Molefe in the SABC2 mini-series Noah's Ark from July to August, 2008.
Loyiso is the son of soccer analyst Mike Mangena. He matriculated from John Adamson High School in Winchester, Johannesburg.
