Gerda Genis is a South African photographer whose international clients include Claudia Schiffer, Linda Evangelista, Sophie Anderton, Alfre Woodard and Corbin Bernsen.
She has photographed numerous South African celebrities including Bobby Skinstad, Penny Heyns, Kerry McGregor, Arno Carstens and Minki van der Westhuizen.
She was featured on the fourth season of the Tyra Banks reality show America's Next Top Model in 2005, as a celebrity photographer and judge, when the show made its international destination Cape Town.
Publications she has been featured in include American Harper's Bazaar, British Hello, SA's Elle, Fair Lady, Rooi Rose, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Sarie, Visi, taste, House & Leisure and FHM.
She shot the entire 1998 South African Sports Illustrated calendar and parts of the 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 SASI productions.
She is a judge on the reality modeling competition Revlon Supermodel from November-December, 2007.
