In 2006 Sehlohole was arrested after paying a restaurant with counterfeit notes. When she couldn't pay up the owners called police and she was jailed.
The actress hired a law firm to get her out of jail, which they did, but according to reports in the newspaper Sunday World the star refused to pay them after the charges were dropped.
Her legal fees were reportedly payed by the creator/producer of Generations, Mfundi Vundla, although he denied making the payment.
