Precious Kofi is a South African actress best known for hosting her own TV show called Keeping it Real with Precious, from 2006-2007.

Precious was born in Alice in the Eastern Cape and grew up in Queenstown, Ciskei. When she started Primary School her and her family moved to Mandela Park, Hout Bay, Cape Town where she attended Korendal Primary School.

She finished Primary School in 2000 and did her high schooling at Camps Bay High where she finished matric in 2005.

While there she did Drama as a subject and was cast as a host in the TV show Hip 2B Square on SABC 2's Tube. In 2006 she was given her own talk show called The Precious Show, which became Keeping it Real with Precious for its second season.

A third season was made, called Keeping it Real, but it was not hosted by Precious.

Her other TV appearances include guest roles in Without a Trace, Tsha Tsha and Zone 14.

She was a host of SABC2's Summer Games in 2006. She was also cast as one of the lead voice characters (Keitu) in the animated series URBO: The Adventures Of Pax Africa, which premiered in South Africa on 30 September, 2006.

In 2007 she starred in the drama series Divers Down on SABC1, about a group of young recruits who join the Navy. The series premiered on Monday 5 February 2007.

She co-hosted the youth magazine programme EMS Volume 1 when it premiered on SABC1 on Tuesday 2 October, 2007.

In 2009 she hosted the docu-reality show Precious Africa, in which she travels to seven African countries to explore their culture.

In 2011 she co-hosted (with Sandile van Heerden) the first season of the magazine programme Mgongo, which aired on Mzansi Magic. She left the show after one season and was replaced by Lehasa Moloi when the show moved to e.tv in 2012.

Precious currently lives in Illovo, Johannesburg.
