Bio

John Mahoney was an English actor best known for his role as retired police officer Martin "Marty" Crane, the father of of Kelsey Grammer's character Dr. Frasier Crane, in the sitcom Frasier, from 1993-2004.

Mahoney died in a Chicago hospice on 4 February, 2018, of complications from throat cancer. He was 77.
