Liz Vassey is an American actress best known for her role as Wendy Simms on the police procedural television series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, from 2005-2010.

Prior to joining CSI in 2005, Vassey was best known for playing the feisty Captain Liberty on The Tick. Liz has also been a series regular on Maximum Bob, Tru Calling, Push, Nevada and Brotherly Love.

She has guest starred on Two and a Half Men and played a recurring role on ER. She also played Tommy Lee Jones' Texas Ranger partner in the feature film Man of The House.

Vassey began her television career at the age of 16 when she landed the role of Emily Ann Sago on All My Children, for which she was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award.

She was born in Raleigh, North Carolina and raised in Tampa, Florida and enjoys running, hiking, and boxing.
