Michael Landes is an American actor best known for his roles as Jimmy Olsen in the first season of Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Detective Nicholas O'Malley in Special Unit 2, Officer Thomas Burke in Final Destination 2 and David Conlon in The Wedding Bells.

He also had a starring role as Tom Harper, a man whose wife now thinks she can talk to God, in the short-lived television sitcom Save Me, in 2013.

Landes appeared in the remake of the classic 1970s hit Upstairs Downstairs for the BBC. In addition, he worked on Lumpy, a comedy directed by Ted Koland that stars Justin Long and Tyler Labine and The Congress which stars Robin Wright.

In 2010, Landes starred in the world premiere of David Mamet's House of Games at the prestigious Almeida Theatre in London, for which he received rave reviews for his portrayal of the charismatic hustler Mike.

Landes started his career on the Emmy Award-winning series The Wonder Years playing Danica McKellar's boyfriend. He then landed the role of Jimmy Olsen in Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.

His numerous television guest roles include Boston Legal, CSI, CSI Miami and Don't Trust the B in Apt 23. He starred in the science fiction action comedy series Special Unit 2 and David E. Kelly's The Wedding Bells, which led to a two-year deal to develop and or star in a series for Fox.

He has spent many years working in film, TV and the stage in London. He starred in the BBC miniseries Material Girl, from Carnival Films, and the BBC2 film The Last Days of Lehman Brothers.

He appeared opposite Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson in Last Chance Harvey and starred in the critically acclaimed BBC series Love Soup from David Renwick. He also won acclaim for his work as Harry in the West End production of When Harry Met Sally, opposite Molly Ringwald.

Film credits include the Fox Searchlight romantic comedy Just Wright and New Line Cinema's Final Destination 2.
