Bio
Zaid Bhoola is a South African actor and radio presenter best known for his role as Supervisor in the SABC1 soapie Uzalo.
Born and raised in Durban, he studied for a certificate in radio sales, media marketing and advertising from the University of Witwatersrand.
He also completed a course in television, radio and presenting with Nadia Bilchick anhd a method acting course, in addition to firearms training with Jack Devnarain.
Zaid was a finalist at the 2013 MTN Radio Awards in the category Breakfast Presenter - PBS, for his show on Lotus FM.
He was also an adjudicator at the radio awards from 2014-2016.
In addition, he voiced three roles in the radio drama What We Want to See.
Films he has acted in include extra roles in Mr. Masinga, Spear and A Love Like Bollywood; he also played a paedophile teacher in the SABC1 telefilm Impande Ye Sono, in 2023.
Also in 2023, he was cast in the role of Supervisor on Uzalo, making his first appearance in Season 9, Episode 76, which aired on 16 June, 2023.
He continued to recur in the role in 2024.
