Bahumi Mhlongo is a South African actress and influencer best known as the daughter of entertainers Somizi Mhlongo and Palesa Madisakwane.

After matriculating from Pro Arte Alphen Park, where she majored in Dramatic Arts and Film-Making, she began studying for a B.Com law degree.

Bahumi was one of the 12 finalists in a TLC Presenter Search in 2015, which sought a presenter for the channel's countdown show TLC Top 10.

She made her television acting debut with the recurring role of Zola in the SABC2 telenovela Keeping Score, first appearing in an episode which aired on 12 December, 2017 (Season 1, Episode 122).

She also made appearances as herself on her father's reality series Living the Dream with Somizi.

In 2019 she played the younger version of Lebo Mathosa (played by KB Motsilanyane) in the BET biopic series Dream: The Lebo Mathosa Story, which premiered on 6 November, 2019.

In 2021 Bahumi had a guest starring role in the M-Net thriller series Reyka, playing the role of Uluthando.

The following year she was cast in the starring role of Tshepiso's (Khojane Morai) troubled sister Refilwe in the Mzansi Magic drama series Umbuso, which premiered on 3 April, 2022.

A year later she landed another starring role, this time in the 1Magic late-night comedy-drama series Grown Woman.

In the series she plays Noxee, the daughter of lead character Tina (played by Linda Sokhulu).

Grown Woman premiered on 3 February, 2023.
