Mapula Mafole is a South African actress best known for her starring role as Mapula on the e.tv soapie Rhythm City.
She was nominated for a SAFTA Award in 2018 for her role as Mapula.
She made her screen acting debut as a school girl in an episode of the SABC1 drama series Intersexions which aired on 5 March, 2013 (Season 2, Episode 4).
Mapula went on to have roles in numerous series including the Mzansi Magic drama Saints and Sinners, the SABC1 drama Soul City, the e.tv drama Z'bondiwe, the SABC1 soapie Generations: The Legacy and the SABC1 legal drama series Sokhulu & Partners.
In 2015 she landed the starring role of Mapula on Rhythm City and continued to play the role until the show ended in 2021.
The following year she landed her second starring role in television when she was cast as social media troll Rea in the third season of the 1Magic drama series Unmarried, which premiered on 8 April, 2022.
