Bio
Khanyisani Kheswa is a South African actor best known for his starring role as Mzi in the Mzansi Magic drama series Vula Vala.
Born and raised in Durban, he matriculated from J.L. Dube High School in 2011 and later attended the Creative Arts College, graduating in 2015.
Active in the Durban theatre scene since graduating, Khanyisani made his television debut in a guest role in an episode of the SABC1 docu-drama reality series Now or Never which aired on 27 March, 2017 (Season 5, Episode 8).
The following month he co-starred in an Mzansi Original TV Movie on Mzansi Magic called Ntwana Yam, about four friends who find a gun and buy themselves a world of trouble. It first aired on Saturday 8 April, 2017.
He landed his first starring role in television when he was cast as Mzi, a young soccer player who leaves Ladysmith to find a better life in Johannesburg, in the Mzansi Magic soccer drama Vula Vala.
The series premiered on 4 October, 2020.
