Patricia Boyer is a South African actress best known for her starring role as Sue in the Mzansi Magic prison drama series Lockdown.

A veteran of performance in television, film and theatre, she first appeared on the small screen in a cameo role in the second season of the TV1 series Die Sonkring, in 1993.

In 2006 she played the recurring role of Rita in the SABC3 comedy-drama series Shado's, first appearing in Season 1, Episode 8 (which aired on 15 March, 2006).

She went on to play guest and recurring roles in a number of series including Sokhulu & Partners, The Lab, Home Affairs, Jacob's Cross, Intersexions and Cape Town.

Patricia's first starring role in television came in 2017 in the SABC3 sitcom Soap on a Rope, in which she played Carmen De Mervé - the producer of the in-house reality show Hard Bodies.

She also began playing the role of Sue in Lockdown. Initially recurring, she was promoted to starring cast the following season.

Later that year she had a recurring role as the Head of Surgery in the Mzansi Magic soapie Isibaya, first appearing in Season 5, Episode 178 (which aired on 15 November, 2017).

The following year she had another recurring role, this time as Judge Tarryn Summers in the Mzansi Magic soapie Ring of Lies. Her first appearance in the role was on 17 April, 2018 (Season 2, Episode 151).

Patricia also played the recurring role of Guinevere in the e.tv soapie Scandal!, debuting in the role on 6 September, 2018.

She had a guest starring role in the SABC3 police procedural series The Docket in Season 1, Episode 7 (which aired on 10 October, 2018).

In 2019 she played the recurring role of Beverley in the Showmax mystery drama series The Girl from St. Agnes.

In 2020 she had a guest starring role as Katarina in the e.tv soapie Rhythm City.
