Lee Thompson is a South African model, television personality and former rugby player best known for being "The Bachelor" on the first season of the M-Net dating game show The Bachelor South Africa. Born in Port Elizabeth, he studied Marketing Management through the University of South Africa and Health & Fitness through the Zululand Sports Academy. During this time he played rugby for the Sharks in KwaZulu-Natal and at the University of Pretoria (TUKS). In 2018 he was announced as the bachelor for the first season of the M-Net dating game show The Bachelor South Africa. The series premiered on the channel on 14 February, 2019.
