Bokang Phelane is a Lesotho-born actress best known for her recurring role as Pula on the SABC2 telenovela Keeping Score.

Bokang in Maseru, Lesotho, where she attended Lesotho High School and Machabeng International College before studying a BA in Psychology at Monash University South Africa. In 2013 she moved to Qatar, where she worked in aviation.

In 2015 she enrolled for the Advanced Actors Program at the Indigo View Academy in Johannesburg and studied under director and acting coach Steven Feinstein.

Her first credited screen role was the recurring role of Khetiwe on the fourth season of the SABC3 drama series Hard Copy, making her first appearance in Season 4, Episode 1 (which aired on 3 October, 2016).

The very next day she featured in an episode of the SABC1 soapie Generations: The Legacy (which aired on 4 October) and less than three weeks later her third screen role aired when she began the recurring role of Celia in the SABC1 drama series Tempy Pushas, making her debut in Season 3, Episode 2 (which aired on 21 October, 2016).

2017 was Bokang's breakout year. She featured in the musical film She is King, which showed at the Cannes Film Festival; and featured in four television series, beginning with a cameo role on the SABC3 comedy-drama Soap on a Roap in Season 1, Episode 3 (which aired on 21 April, 2017).

Next up was a recurring role on the second season of the SABC1 sitcom Single Guyz, as the socially-awkward and unlucky-in-love nerd Fezeka. She made her first appearance on the show in Season 2, Episode 1 (8 May, 2017).

Bokang then began a major recurring arc on the SABC2 telenovela Keeping Score as Pula, a receptionist who fights for justice after she is sexually assaulted by a man she trusted. She made her first appearance on the show in Season 1, Episode 77 (which aired on 10 July, 2017).

Later in July she began another recurring role: as the tenacious investigative journalist Noxolo on the SABC3 soapie Isidingo. Her first appearance on the show was on 31 July.

In 2018, Bokang landed a starring role in the second episode of the SABC1 supernatural miniseries Emoyeni, entitled "uMngoma". The episode, also starring Thabo Rametsi and Simpho Mathenjwa, is the story of Bonga, a popularity-hungry fashionista running away from a calling.
