Ilse Oppelt is a South African actress and writer best known for her starring role as Katrien in the SABC2 sitcom Fishy Fêshuns, from 1999-2004.
She also had a guest starring role in the kykNET drama series Orion.
Ilse has written for numerous television series including the dramas Sara se Geheim and Onder die Suiderkruis; the soapie 7de Laan; and the comedy series Rasdien.
Her film acting credits include roles in Oh Schuks ... I'm Gatvol!, Klein Karoo, Die Laaste Tango and Stuur groete aan Mannetjies Roux.
