Katlego Setlhare is a South African actress best known for her starring role as Palesa, one of Mantwa's children, in the Mzansi Magic telenovela Imposter. It was her first starring role in television.
She previously had a guest starring role as Pearl in the first season of the Mzansi Magic soapie Isibaya, in 2013. It was her first credited television role. She also had a small role on the third season of the Mzansi Magic soapie Zabalaza, in 2015.
Katlego appeared in a film called Journey to Beginning and apopeared as a bachelorette on the Mzansi Magic game show Nguwe Na?. In 2014 she appeared in a panel discussion on the Mzansi Magic show Sifun'ukwazi, in a segment about personal branding.
Her big break came in 2017 when she landed the starring role of Palesa in The Imposter (renamed Imposter for Season 2), produced by Ferguson Films for Mzansi Magic. The telenovela is about a woman who breaks out of prison and takes over the life of her twin sister, who lives happily with two kids - one of them being Palesa. The twins are played by Thishiwe Ziqubu.
In 2018 she had a cameo role as Sexy Girl 1 on the Mzansi Magic drama series Housekeepers, appearing in Season 1, Episode 3 (which aired on 20 October).
