Siba Mtongana is a South African celebrity chef, author and television personality best known as the host of the Food Network show Siba's Table.
She is also a judge on another Food Network show, Chopped South Africa.
Siba previously hosted the Mzansi Magic show Cooking with Siba, in which celebrity guests visited her "kitchen" where she cooked their favourite meals or something from their place of origin (e.g. pap and marogo from the Free State; sheep's head from the Eastern Cape, etc). The show won the Golden Horn award for "Best Variety & Lifestyle Show" at the seventh annual South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs), in 2013.
Siba holds a degree in Food and Consumer Sciences from Cape Peninsula University of Technology, Cape Town.
In 2017 she was one of the four "Wedding Bashers" in the M-Net reality competition series of the same name, in which a team of four celebrities rate the weddings of ordinary South Africans. Her role in the show was to critique the culinary experience.
