Tefo Magengenene is a South African actor best known for his role as Sello Salemane in the SABC3 comedy-drama series Bedford Wives.
Since matriculating from Sandown High School in 2011, Tefo has appeared in a number of television series in supporting or guest roles. He has also had roles in a number of television commercials for clients including Doom, 8ta, Kellogg's, the SABC and 1Life Direct.
In 2012 he had a three-episode recurring role on the SABC1 science fiction police procedural series Room 9 as Bhutang Kunene, the deceased twin brother of the main character Alice Kunene (played by Zethu Dlomo).
In 2014 he began playing the recurring role of Tabs Langeni on the Mzansi Magic drama series Saints and Sinners, returning to the role for Season 2 in 2016. In the series he was credited numerous times, but never correctly. The misspellings of his name in the credits were as follows: Tefo Magangenenele, Tefo Magangenene and Tefo Maganganene.
In 2016 Tefo had a guest role as Bruce on the second season of the SABC1 sitcom Thandeka's Diary and also guest starred as a small time dealer in an episode of the e.tv drama series Z'bondiwe, which aired on 27 September, 2016 (Season 2, Episode 21).
In 2017 he played the recurring role of Nathi on the fifth season of the MTV Base drama series MTV Shuga, making his first appearance in the season premiere on 8 March, 2017 (Season 5, Episode 1).
Later in 2017 he had his first starring role in television when he was cast as Sello Salemane in the SABC3 comedy-drama series Bedford Wives.
