In December 2015 he starred in the M-Net Original Film The Ring, produced by M-Net's 2015 Magic in Motion Academy interns. The film - also starring Kenneth Nkosi, Mac Leshomo, Sana Mchunu, Sive Mabuya and Ntando Mncube - is a comedy set in a hotel, and first aired on 19 December that year.

Cedric also played the guest role of Chris Cele on the third season of the Mzansi Magic soapie isiBaya and in mid-2016 he landed a guest starring role in a third season episode of the SABC1 legal drama series Sokhulu & Partners.
