David Konrad is a South African actor best known for his role as Herman du Preez in the kykNET soapie Binnelanders, joining the cast in 2015. He was promoted to starring cast for Season 12, in 2016.
David studied Method Acting and the Meisner Technique in New York and Los Angeles. He appeared in a number of feature films whilst overseas, including as a featured extra on The 25th Hour, directed by Spike Lee.
He has acted in numerous television series including Generations, 7de Laan, 102 Paradise Complex, Zero Tolerance, Jacob's Cross, Kruispad and Isidingo.
He also had a notable recurring role on the e.tv soapie Rhythm City in 2013 playing the role of John, a millionaire playboy who meets Lu on an Internet dating site.
Theatre productions he has appeared in include A Night with Tennessee Williams, Binnereis, Siener in die Suburbs and Risiko.
