Bio

Stanton "Stiga" Fredericks is a South African former football (soccer) player who last played as midfielder for Bidvest Wits in the Premier Soccer League, having previously represented South Africa. He retired from football in May 2013.

Fredericks previously had a loan spell at Supersport United. He also spent three seasons with FC Moscow, appearing in 13 Russian Premier League matches.

In 2015 he was one of the 10 celebrity contestants on the eighth season of the reality competition series Strictly Come Dancing. He was partnered with professional dancer Erin Musson.

He was born in Johannesburg, Gauteng.
