Thomie Holtzhausen is a South African actor best known for his recurring role as Oom Peet in the SABC2 youth drama series Snake Park. Based in Durban, Thomie frequently appears on stage in a wide range of disciplines, from drama to comedy. Every festive season he can be seen in a variety of roles in the Adult Pantomimes at Suncoast Casino. Amongst several accolades for his work is Best Director (Drama), Best Comedy Actor and Best Actor in a Children's Production. He has been seen in the feature films I Wish I Was In Jail and My Little Black Heart. Thomie is also actively involved in educational theatre. He appeared as Oom Peet in Season 1 of Snake Park and returned for Season 2. The series unfolds through the life of Blessing (Junior Miya), a teenage boy who aspires to be a professional surfer.
