Howard Charles is an English actor best known for his starring role as Porthos, a great fighter, a loyal friend and a man who lives life to the full, in the historical fiction television series The Musketeers.

Howard has appeared in stage productions of The Cherry Orchard and Enron. He starred in the Royal Shakespeare Company productions of The Merchant of Venice and Macbeth, Blackta at The Young Vic.

Television work includes Beautiful People, Candy Chops and Switch. He also appeared in the feature film &Me.
