Bio

Scarlett Alice Johnson is an English actress best known for her starring television roles as Vicki Fowler in the soap opera EastEnders and as Laura Derbyshire in the comedy-drama Pramface.

Johnson attended Highgate Wood School and Performing Arts College where she was spotted by an agent in a production of Guys and Dolls, in which she played the lead.

The role of Vicki Fowler on the BBC's flagship soap opera EastEnders was her first television role though not her professional début, having previously appeared in numerous stage productions, including a six-month run in an acclaimed National Theatre production of Dylan Thomas' Under Milk Wood directed by Roger Michell.

Johnson left EastEnders in 2004 after two years and returned to stage acting as well as embarking on a career in films. From 2012-2014 she played the role of a pregnant young teenager in Pramface, on BBC Three.
