Rick Donald is an Australian actor best known for his starring role as Lowell in the short-lived television sitcom Friends with Better Lives, in 2014.
Donald was born and raised in Australia and graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art in 2009. His Australian television credits include House Husbands, The Doctor Blake Mysteries and the voice of Firehead in the children's animated series The Woodlies.
Donald's previous television credits include the UKTV television movie Dripping In Chocolate, the Australian made for television movies Blood Brothers and Paper Giants: The Birth of Cleo and the Australian television series Tricky Business, Sea Patrol, Home and Away, Crownies and Underbelly: Razor.
Donald appeared in the Australian feature film Blinder and his role in Friends with Better Lives marked his U.S. television debut.
His birthday is 22 October.
