Bio

Pedro Pascal is a Chilean-born American actor best known for his role as Oberyn Martell - the Red Viper of Dorne - who is the younger brother of Doran Martell, the Prince of Dorne, and the late Elia Martell, wife of Rhaegar Targaryen, the late Prince of Dragonstone and heir to the Iron Throne, in the fantasy drama television series Game of Thrones.

His parents escaped the Chilean military dictatorship and he was raised in Texas and California. He attended Orange County School of the Arts and then New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.

He has a prolific stage career on Broadway and has acted in numerous television series including recurring roles on The Good Wife, Graceland and Red Widow; and guest starring roles on such shows as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, NYPD Blue, Law & Order, Nurse Jackie, Nikita and Homeland.

He is a member of New York City's LAByrinth Theater Company.
