Iris Miya is a South African model best known for being a chambermate on the third season of the Mzansi Magic reality competition television series Big Brother Mzansi, in 2014.

Born in Vrede, 21-year-old Iris has been living in Secunda for the past three years. A model, she describes herself as stylish, loving, hyper, classy and easy to get along with.
Mom to a 10-month-old baby girl who she says is her best friend in the world, Iris has two brothers and speaks English, Zulu, Sotho and Setswana. She says her bad habit is talking too much and that she dislikes people who lie and yell at her as well as hypocrites.
Iris' hobbies include cooking, reading and traveling, and she relaxes by "chilling on the sofa sipping wine". She lists her hidden talent as singing and says if she could visit one place in the world, she'd go to New York. "It's fun and busy and I can definitely party all night long."
A fan of The Steve Harvey Show, Iris lists her favourite movies as Madea's Family Reunion and Rush Hour. Top of her list of actors are Chris Tucker, Chris Rock and Menzi Nqubane while Toni Braxton, Joe and Zonke Dikana top her list of great musicians. Asked about her favourite books, Iris names Straight Talk, No Chaser: How To Find, Keep and Understand a Man.
She credits her brother with giving her the best advice ever. "The world does not owe you anything so it's bound to be unfair." With a role model in Batsetsana Khumalo, Iris says, "She's achieved exactly what I really want to achieve from a model to a businesswoman."
Iris wanted to be on Big Brother Mzansi because, "I enjoyed seeing previous housemates having fun. I wanna have fun too, eat whatever and be away from everything for a while."
If she wins the show, she will invest her prize money, as well as spoil herself and her family. She says audiences should watch her on Big Brother Mzansi because, "I'm fun, exciting. You don't know what to expect from me. I'm also full of drama."
