Michaella Russell is a South African actress and model best known for her role as Charlie Holmes on the SABC3 soapie Isidingo.Michaella replaced Jay Anstey who originally played the role. Michaella was cast in late 2013 and makes her debut in January 2014.At the time of her casting she was a full time student studying Neuropsychology and Economics. She changed her course to study via correspondence when she was cast in Isidingo.
