Nolan Gerard Funk is a Canadian actor, singer and dancer best known for his recurring role as Hunter Clarington in the musical comedy-drama television series Glee; and as Conrad Birdie in the 2009 Broadway revival of the musical Bye Bye Birdie.
The former national gymnast received his first break when he was cast in the starring role of Nickelodeon's musical film Spectacular! He originated the role of Conrad Birdie in Bye Bye Birdie on Broadway where he was singled out by the New York Times and given a rave by The New Yorker.
Nolan played a love interest to Jennifer Lawrence in Relativity's House at the End of the Street. He also has the starring role in The Canyons opposite Lindsay Lohan, directed by Paul Schrader, and written by Bret Easton Ellis.
He also plays a conflicted religious mercenary opposite Vin Diesel in Riddick for Universal and joined the cast of Glee as Hunter Clarington, the new captain of the warblers.
He also has a role in the MTV comedy-drama series Awkward. as Collin, a mysterious and cerebral new kid who joins the show in Season 3.
