Sibongile Phakathi is a South African actress best known for her recurring role as a warden on the Mzansi Magic prison drama series Lockdown.
She was previously known for her recurring role as Gloria Ramphela, who no longer admits that she's from Hammanskraal and returns from time to time to rub her success in everyone's nose, in the SABC2 sitcom Majakathatha.
She played two different characters on the e.tv anthology series eKasi: Our Stories and had a guest starring role in an episode of the SABC1 docu-drama series Ngempela, appearing in Season 1, Episode 5 (which aired on 4 March, 2014).
She also had a guest starring role on the SABC1 sitcom Thandeka's Diary, appearing in Season 3, Episode 18 (which aired on 4 March, 2019).
