Bio
Tereza Srbova is a Czech actress best known for her role as DEA agent Kim Martinez, a decorated member of the Marine Corps' Military Police unit who teams up with Section 20 on the ground in Colombia, in the television action series Strike Back.
Srbova was born in Prague, Czech Republic. She spent most of her adult life abroad in Paris, New York and London where she currently lives. Tereza holds a masters degree in culture anthropology as she originally planned to be a journalist.
While writing is still her hobby her career took a different path. Tereza's curiosity for acting first led her to study theatre at RADA as well as the Method with Jack Waltzer in London.
Soon after she landed her first role in David's Cronenberg's cult movie Eastern Promises and appeared in the controversial nude scene alongside Viggo Mortensen and Vincent Cassel.
Other challenging roles soon followed and she has been cast for independent movies as well as internationally acclaimed projects alongside Hollywood A-listers such as Helen Mirren, Jude Law, Russell Brand or Rachel Weisz.
In 2013 she had a recurring role as Major Nina Pirogova in the action series Strike Back.
