Bio

Wim Beukes is a South African actor who has appeared in several television series including Song vir Katryn, Binnelanders, Getroud Met Rugby and Dryfsand.

Beukes matriculated as deputy head boy of Culture at High School Schoonspruit in Klerksdorp, in 1986. During his school career he competed in the annual ATKV-Tienertoneel productions and in 1985 he received the Best Actor award.

Wim completed his National Service in 1989 in the rank of Lieutenant.

He studied acting, directing and psychology at the University of the North West and subsequently established NoordWes Produksies (NWP), a professional acting company which toured the country and performed at several prominent theatres and arts festivals.

Several productions were successfully staged which Wim performed in, produced and directed. Besides the management of the NWP, Wim conducted acting workshops, directed on a freelance basis, acted and performed as a production manager.
