Chris Vorster is a South African actor and writer best known for his starring role as Ryno Lategan in the SABC2 soap opera 7de Laan.

He also had a starring role in the SABC2 mystery thriller mini-series Een Skoenlapper (One Butterfly), in 2002.

In addition, he was the writer of the series Plek van die Vleisvreters.
