Derek Theler is an American actor and model best known for his starring role as Danny Wheeler, Ben's brother, a professional hockey player, on the television sitcom Baby Daddy.
Theler grew up playing sports and graduated from Colorado State with a degree in pre-medicine. From there he was cast in commercials for Nike, Coke Zero, State Farm, Kayak and Arby's. He can also be seen in a Verizon ad.
Previously Theler filmed a three-episode arc on the fourth season of 90210, as AnnaLynne McCord's love interest. Additionally, he was a recurring comedian in sketches for the Conan O'Brien Show.
Theler was born in Fort Collins, Colorado and currently resides in Los Angeles.
