Marina Malota is an American actress best known for her starring role as Rose on the television sitcom Bette, from 2000-2001.

Malota was cast in Bette after Lindsay Lohan, who played the role in the pilot episode, withdrew from the show as she didn't want to travel to Los Angeles for filming.

Marina had previously starred in the short-lived sitcom Odd Man Out (1999-2000), which was cancelled after 13 episodes.

She had a recurring role in the sitcom My Wife and Kids and made guest appearances on several television shows including Presidio Med, Family Affair, ER, Yes, Dear and Judging Amy.

Malota also played the role of Emily Bates in the feature film Donnie Darko (2001) and its sequel, S. Darko, in 2009. It was her last credited screen acting role.
