Bio

Denise Zimba (also credited as Kopano Denise Zimba) is a South African singer, dancer and actress best known as a member of the all-girl group Fly Chix, whose attempt to break into the music industry was chronicled in the Vuzu docu-reality series Fly Chix, in 2013.

Born and raised in the North West, Zimba found herself in love with the stage at a very young age. She was once a backing vocalist and dancer for Jozi.

In 2013, shortly after her show Fly Chix, she joined Vuzu as a presenter on their flagship daily show V-Entertainment.

In April 2014 she debuted on the SABC1 soap opera Generations in the role of Mary. In October that year she starred in a two-part documentary called Looking for the Loerie with Denise, which chronicled her "epic journey" to the 36th Annual Loerie Awards in Cape Town.
