Bio
Liam Boyle is an English actor best known for his recurring role as Dominic Bailey in the police procedural television drama series Scott & Bailey, since 2012.
Boyle was born and grew up in Heywood, Lancashire. As a teenager he attended The Oldham Theatre Workshop. It was in his final preparations for a teaching degree at University that Boyle was spotted by a casting director at an open audition for a film.
Instead of going to the final interviews for his degree he made the decision to go to the recalls for the film, which fell on the same day.
The risk paid off and Boyle was offered a role in Dominic Savage's fully improvised Love + Hate. It was his first big break.
Since then Liam has appeared in various TV and film roles including award winning series' The Street, Instinct and Land Girls, and is well known for his critically acclaimed performance of Elvis in Kevin Sampson's Awaydays.
