Bio
Joel Gretsch is an American actor best known for his leading role as NTAC investigator Tom Baldwin on the science fiction television series The 4400, from 2004-2007.
He studied acting at the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis before moving to Los Angeles in 1989.
He started his television work in the early 90's, appearing in episodes of Married... with Children, Melrose Place and Saved by the Bell: The New Class.
Since then he has appeared in episodes of JAG, Silk Stalkings, CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, NCIS and Women's Murder Club among others.
Joel also had minor roles in a number of films including The Legend of Bagger Vance , Minority Report and The Emperor's Club.
He has been married to William Shatner's daughter, Melanie Shatner since 5 September, 1999. The couple have two daughters, Kaya and Willow.
