Billy Brown is an American actor best known for his recurring television roles as Richard 'Death Row' Reynolds in Lights Out and as Mike Anderson in Dexter.
He also has a starring role as Archer Petit, a member of the team that takes the Sanders family hostage, in the thriller television series Hostages.
Named one of 2011's Faces to Watch by the Los Angeles Times, Brown stars as August Marks on Sons of Anarchy. His additional television credits include Dexter, Lights Out, Californication, Law & Order: SVU, Southland, Criminal Minds, NCIS, CSI: NY and Cold Case.
He also had a recurring role on The Following, opposite Kevin Bacon and James Purefoy.
Brown's feature film credits include Star Trek, Cloverfield, Race to Witch Mountain, Lakeview Terrace and several others. He is also the exclusive voice of commercials for the United States Marine Corps.
In 2014 he began starring in the ABC thriller series How to Get Away with Murder as Detective Nate Lahey, Annalise's lover who tries to prove Sam's involvement in the Lila Stangard murder.
