Tiffany Hines is an American actress and singer best known for her television roles as Michelle Welton on Bones (since 2009) and as Jaden on Nikita, from 2010-2011.
Hines is also known for starring in the N/Teen Nick series Beyond the Break. She also starred in the romantic comedy feature Perfect Combination, alongside Christian Keyes, Angell Conwell, Kareem Grimes and Ayo Sorrells.
Hines also had a recurring on the series 10 Things I Hate About You.
Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and raised in Tallahassee, Florida, Hines was a very musical child. She played the violin and piano and performed for the Tallahassee Youth Orchestra.
She danced competitively and, when she was older, taught at various dance studios in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area.
Hines began choreographing at the age of 15 by creating a solo lyrical dance for her sister and won first, second and third place titles at various regional and national dance competitions for both performance and choreography for ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, hip hop and acrobatic dancing.
In addition to dance, Hines also sings. She sang lead vocals and co-wrote music for a Cincinnati-based band Camden and then another named Low Key. She performed regularly at several Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky locations.
Due to her many talents, Hines has built a strong body of work. When starting out, she booked Dodge and Old Navy campaigns as well as a MLB commercial with Tommy Lasorda.
Since then, she has guest starred on Grey's Anatomy, Heroes, Criminal Minds, Miss Guided and Lie to Me. Hines has appeared in the television movies Shark Swarm, This Can't Be My Life and Dandelion Dharma.
She also starred in The Winged Man, which was honoured as the Official Selection in the Rhode Island Film Festival, L.A. Short Film Festival and Big Bear Film Festival.
Hines is well known for playing the recurring role of Kelly Hawkins, a lesbian student on Lincoln Heights, Maya in the miniseries Meteor: Path to Destruction, and Layla in CSI.
Hines resides in Los Angeles, California.
