Matt Ryan is a Welsh actor best known for his starring role in the police procedural television drama series Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior, in 2011.

Born in Swansea, Wales, Ryan studied at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and performed in numerous productions at the Royal Shakespeare Company. He starred in Hamlet on stage in New York and London opposite Jude Law.

Ryan's body of work also includes a variety of parts in both film and television. These include roles in the feature film Wild Decembers, and the British television series Consenting Adults, Collision and The Tudors.

He also appeared in the independent film Flypaper, co-starring Patrick Dempsey and Ashley Judd.
