Bio
Stefan Vermaak is a South African actor best known for his starring role as Neil in the kykNET drama series Hartland, in 2011.
Stefan started his professional career in threatre in 2007 at the age of 15, as one of the leading characters (Benjamin Komoeti) in Fiela se Kind, directed by Sandra Prinsloo in the State Theatre, Carnival City, Artscape and various Arts Festivals such as Inniebos and Aardklop.
His theatre credits include also various school productions, including Skandaal (Liz Meiring and Deon Opperman) directed by Liezl Nel. Stefan has also appeared in a music video with Nedine Blom.
He has performed also as MC at various functions. Stefan is a versatile entertainer with an exceptional strong voice, energetic friendly personality and diverse acting ability and presence.
He was awarded Best Dramatic Monologue at the National Eisteddfod in 2009 and was head boy of Menlopark High. Stefan is also a passionate sports athlete, including rugby, wrestling, hockey, athletics, etc.
He studied a Bcom Marketing at the University of South Africa and currently resides in Pretoria.
