Shandir has lived in Durban his whole life. Now residing in Montford, Chatsworth, Shandir loves the atmosphere and people. In his spare time he enjoys playing games, hanging out with friends and going places.
When Shandir first heard he was selected as one of the seven contestants to compete against seven well-known celebrities for the R1 million prize, his first thought was "How am I going to spend the money?"
If Shandir had a superpower it would be the ability to control people's minds.
Shandir is looking forward to socialising on the island and "winning would be cool too".
His favourite celebrity going to the island is Loyiso Gola. If Shandir were to win the R1 million, he would "invest some, donate some, feed some people and buy my sister a car."
