Gerrie de Wet is a South African dancer best known as one of the Top 16 contestants on the second season of the SABC1 reality competition So You Think You Can Dance, in 2010.

He wants to mix contemporary and Latin together to bring something new to the show.

Going to Blackpool, England dance festival and seeing the amount of talent there is in the world.

He auditioned in Johannesburg but he lives in Randfontein.

He would be acting or motor car racing or moto-crossing.

It's a country with lots of potential and different styles, a country with lots of rhythm.

It would mean a lot to him, it would be a dream come true.

Michael Wentink, Travis Wall from So You Think You Can Dance USA, and his mom and dad.

Challenges faced
Hurting his knee so badly that doctors told him that he would never dance again.

What makes him happy
His family, his friends and his awesome girlfriend. Also movies, milkshakes and just chilling with friends.

The dream is out there, it's all about how much you want it so go for it. Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain.

Husky Rescue and the Animal anti–cruelty. Any foundation involved with animals.
