Cassi Thomson is an Australian-born American actress, singer and songwriter best known for her starring role as Cara Lynn in the ploygamy drama television series Big Love, from 2009-2011.
Thomson was born abroad in Queensland, Australia and now lives in Los Angeles. She has booked guest star rolls on top shows such as House, ER and Without a Trace. Her first movie Cop Dog was released on DVD in 2008.
In addition Cassi worked on a Hallmark TV movie called Our First Christmas which aired in December of 2008. Cassi has worked in commercials and been booked as a print model for various catalogues and Disney products.
Cassi appeared at the end of season three on the HBO original series Big Love and became a series regular. In addition, she appeared as a guest star on HawthoRNe in 2009 and guested on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and CSI: Miami.
Cassi is a gifted vocalist/songwriter and is working on her first album. Her first music video for the single "Caught Up In You" was completed in March 2008. Shortly after that time she featured her song "Fathers and Daughters" in a second music video.
