Nia Peeples is an American R&B and dance music singer and actress best known for her television roles as Nicole Chapman on Fame (1983-1986), as Sydney Cooke on Walker, Texas Ranger (1999-2001) and as Karen Taylor on The Young and the Restless, from 2007-2009.

Peeples also starred as Kiani, in the 80's surfing flick North Shore. Some of her hit singles from the late 80’s early 90’s include, Trouble, Street of Dreams and All You Can Dream.

She also stars in the teen drama mystery series Pretty Little Liars, since 2010.
