Karl Thaning is a South African actor and former Olympic swimmer best known for his role as plastic surgeon Dr. Nathan Richards in the M-Net soapie Binneland Sub Judice (formerly known as Binnelanders), since 2009.
He represented South Africa in the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens in swimming and at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Australia.
Karl has acted in numerous television series including Going Up Again, The Triangle, Madam & Eve, Crossroads, Supernova, Cavegirl and Binnelanders.
