Bio
Anastasia Griffith is a French-born English actress best known for her role as Katie Connor, the friend of Ellen Parsons, on the legal drama television series Damages, from 2007-2009.
She is also known for her role as Nancy Carnahan on Trauma (2009-2010) and as Elizabeth Haverford on Copper, from 2012-2013.
Born in Paris to her American father and Northern Irish actress mother, Griffith has accumulated a variety of credits since moving Stateside.
Additional television credits include guest-starring roles on The Cleaner with Benjamin Bratt, Lipstick Jungle, Law & Order: SVU, and New Amsterdam, which reunited her with co-star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau from the film The Headsman.
She also appeared in the BAFTA-winning drama Dirty Filthy Love opposite Michael Sheen, and in the remake of Alfie with Jude Law.
She can be seen on ABC's series Once Upon a Time playing the unfortunate third wheel in a love triangle with Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Prince Charming (Josh Dallas). She also stars on USA Network's hit series Royal Pains opposite Mark Feuerstein.
Other credits include feature films like The Headsman, Fire and the 2004 remake of Alfie, as well as television roles on The Cleaner, Lipstick Jungle and Law and Order: SVU, among others. In late 2010, she filmed the lead role in the Lifetime original film And Baby Will Fall.
Griffith trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art having previously completed a degree in History of Art at Bristol University.
As a result of her theatrical background, she has mastered a variety of dialects and starred in numerous stage productions.
She joined the cast of the FX legal thriller Damages in 2007 in the recurring role (which became a main role in the second season) of Katie Connor, Ellen Parsons' (Rose Byrne) friend.
A vivacious young woman with an outgoing personality, she tries to help Ellen reconnect with the world following the murder of David Connor, her brother and Ellen's fiancé. Despite her best intentions, Katie's actions create ever-increasing problems for Ellen.
Anastasia is the sister of actor Jamie Bamber.
