Bio

Richard Ayoade is a British comedian, actor, writer and director best known for his role as Maurice Moss in the television sitcom The IT Crowd.

Ayoade is also known for his work alongside long-term writing partner, Matthew Holness, as co-creator of the Award-winning Horror writer Garth Marenghi.

He went on to co-write and direct AD/BC, a Christmas rock opera for BBC3, and starred in Chris Morris' Channel 4 comedy, Nathan Barley.

In 2013 he replaced Stephen Fry as host of the technology series Gadget Man.
