Mzansi Magic got the name of their show wrong in their publicity material! Their new Monday night drama isn't called Stokvel BUT Stokvel Season. It's the official name in the series title card. AND they left out half the starring cast in the release about the cast. Bah!!

The fact that DStv Premium subscribers don't get BBC UKTV is all kinds of wrong! We want to watch Jamie Oliver's Air Fryer Meals but we can't. We're paying top dollar to see EVERYTHING on DStv but we're being denied this. Uncool and unfair in the extreme.

The Rexona/Shield deodorant ads that pop-up during the FIFA World Cup are driving us around the twist. It's madness that Shield's changed name like this. Shield makes sense - protection against sweaty pits - but Rexona sounds like rat poison!

Now DStv's premiering new seasons on DStv Stream ONLY. The new Season 2 of former Showmax series Beaulah: Queens van die Kaap premieres on 12 May and it's only going to stream. The press release says "first on DStv Stream" so it'll probably go to a DStv channel but why split viewers like this?! Multichoice refuses to make things simple! You'd think they'd want everyone watching together so shows can go "viral". Ridiculous.

kykNET's new murder mystery Die Oord was filmed in around Cape Town - Kommetjie, Melkbosstrand and the northern suburbs - BUT it should have been filmed at a proper Oord. It should have been filmed at Uilenskraalsmond in Franskraal, Gansbaai. It's the absolute epitome of an Oord - purrfect for the series!

Episode 4 of the "historic" Survivor 50 was the worst episode of any season ever! The Survivors winning singer Zac Brown as a reward was pathetic and such a smack in the face for them. THEY'RE the famous faces of the show but they were diminished by the status the show gave him and all pandering they had to do. "Oh Zac, you're so much more special than us lowly Survivor players,". Awful. Also, it went on and ON, him singing and promoting his businesses. Eww.
